Beach Bums

Today was a great day for the beach, so that is where we headed. Even though it was "sticky" hot at our house, there was a nice breeze by the lake, which made it quite comfortable. The water was on the chilly side, at only 62 degrees, but that didn't stop the kids from jumping in! Our neighbor Arjana came along, and her mom lent us a nice beach umbrella. So I watched the kids from my little shady haven on the shore. Everyone had the same idea today, because the beach was packed! Of course, we went to Holland State Park, so I didn't really expect anything different. We had to walk quite a ways before we could find a spot near the water.
